Meet Dr. Andrea Brard

Dr. Brard is a UCLA-trained Clinical Psychologist specializing in working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and anxiety—particularly those who struggle with emotional outbursts, rigidity, and challenging behaviors at home or school.

She has advanced training in evidence-based, parent-mediated interventions for children with ASD, including serving as a clinical trainer and consultant in AIM HI (An Individualized Mental Health Intervention for Children with Autism), a UCLA-developed, research-supported treatment designed to reduce challenging behaviors and improve emotional functioning.

Dr. Brard works closely with parents to develop clear, effective strategies for managing behaviors such as meltdowns, noncompliance, and anxiety, while helping children build emotional regulation, flexibility, and coping skills. Her approach is highly structured, practical, and results-oriented, with a strong focus on creating meaningful change in daily life—not just in session.

Her goal is to help children feel more confident and capable, while giving parents the tools and support they need to feel more calm, effective, and in control at home.
